It was very much a cat da - made of amber, which I'd bought from Egypt for my friend. But if it were really a cat, it should have nine lives, and hence still alive (and liable to suffer from a craving to bite). On the other hand, if it's not alive, it didn't have said 9 lives and therefore not a cat. See?
